ABOUT THE ROLE
PolyPeptide is on an exciting growth journey, and we are looking for new (Senior) Manager Corporate Communications, to define, create, implement, and ensure adherence to the external and internal corporate communications strategy for the group, across all our sites.
- Management of the external corporate communications across various media channels - communication plan, creation of content, execution / distribution (e.g. corporate news, LinkedIn feed). Contact of the group for media relations (excluding Investor Relations).
- Management of a highly positive and engaging internal communication with co-workers - communication plan, creation of content, execution / distribution (e.g. internal news, intranet content, townhall meetings, management presentations).
- Management and coordination of the reporting required for the SIX listed company (annual report, half-year report), in close collaboration with various internal stakeholders. Preparation of the reports, results presentations, corporate news, and management of their distribution.
- Ownership of the company homepage and intranet platform.
- Ownership of the corporate brand - guidelines, templates, tools. Monitor and support application of the brand guidelines. Ownership of the communications guidelines and governance, securing adherence via regular updates and trainings of users.
- Coordination of the internal communicators’ community ensuring a coordinated, group-wide communication planning and execution and news flow.
- Cost-efficient sourcing and result-oriented coordination of external providers.
- Support to key members of management in identification and preparation of content and communication campaigns, e.g. presentations, speeches, videos, news. Support to CEO in preparation of his communications. Preparation for and management of crisis communication.
YOUR PROFILE
For excelling in this broad and influential expertise role, you are an experienced international communications professional, with a highly engaging, collaborative, communicative working style, ready to roll up your sleeves and move the communications agenda forward with personal drive, energy and focus.
- University degree in Corporate Communications, Business Communications, Media Relations, Business Administration or similar with 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, in sizable international corporations with B-to-B business model, on corporate/global/international level.
- Experience in listed companies is a must (preferably Swiss listed / SIX).
- Exposure to similar industry (healthcare / life science) a plus.
- Besides inhouse communications roles, additional experience in a communications agency a plus.
- Profound experience in definition and execution of internal and external communications plans. Highly professional in identification, preparation, and delivery of content (incl. text, visual, video) for various media forms / channels. Familiar with trends in audience’s expectations and media behaviors, media planning and monitoring of success / reach via KPIs.
- In-depth experience in the management of annual / half-year / quarterly reports of a listed company. Familiar with trends in non-financial reporting and ESG aspects.
- Strong level of accuracy and attention to detail. “Hands-on” mentality, able to work independently, take ownership, execute, work under pressure and deal with conflicting priorities. Acting with a high degree of customer focus, flexibility and solution focus, and as role model for PolyPeptide’s values of innovation, excellence and trust.
- Knowledge of the relevant IT systems, media tools. Familiar with tools for professional management of webpage, intranet, and social media (e.g. LinkedIn). Familiar with trends for gaining efficiencies and optimal use of technology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence others, collaborate cross-functionally and across different geographies for optimal outcomes for the group. Able to interact with internal and external stakeholders on different levels. Able to work in an international environment and deal with cultural differences, and to collaborate with colleagues spread in different locations and time zones. Able to travel according to the requirements of the global role.
- Strong knowledge of verbal and written business English (level professional writer), German and French a plus.
