Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our Maintenance and Engineering department. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of all plant equipment and utilities, supporting uninterrupted production in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all equipment and utilities.
- Lead engineering projects for capacity expansion, technology upgrades, and process improvements.
- Drive Brownfield / Greenfield capex projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring timely execution within budget.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, and environmental standards.
- Implement ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives aligned with company goals.
- Liaise with local government authorities and regulatory bodies for statutory approvals and compliance.
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop and monitor budgets for maintenance and capital projects.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and EHS teams to maintain operational excellence.
- Implement energy conservation and cost optimization initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering (master’s preferred).
- Minimum 12–15 years of experience in Plant maintenance, Automation and medium to large scale Projects execution within API/pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, GMP, environmental norms).
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
