Experience: 4–5 years in pharmaceutical / API / chemical manufacturing industry
Purpose of the Role
To ensure reliable operation, calibration, maintenance, and compliance of all instrumentation systems in the plant, supporting uninterrupted production and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Job Description for Instrument Officer
Hands-on experience in maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, installation and commissioning of instrumentation and automation systems while ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory guidelines
Responsible for execution of scheduled Instrument Calibration and preventive maintenance activities.
To take plant round and troubleshoot abnormal observations of instrumentation & Automation systems.
To plan and execute plant maintenance in coordination with other departments.
To assist in maintaining & developing preventive maintenance and calibration of instruments schedule, SOPs.
Daily reporting of work status of plant maintenance and calibration activities to manager/designee.
Installation and commissioning of DCS, BMS, PLC & other applicable Automation systems.
To configure and retrieve data from data loggers.
Coordinating with production, stores and inventory part of every equipment and Instruments.
To Assist in Validation of equipment like Access Control System, Fire Alarm System, Public address System, Door interlock system.
To prepare, Check and review GMP documents such as PM reports, internal/external calibration reports etc.
To follow regulatory guidelines such as GMP, GDP, GEP, GAMP5, 21CFR PART11, EudraLex, ICHQ7, validation and qualification documents.
To perform various tests in validation of Automation systems.
Co-ordinate with Contract manpower for projects & modification jobs.
Co-ordinate with AMC vendors for PM and troubleshooting activity.
