Job Summary
The Mechanical Apprentice will receive practical training in preventive and breakdown
maintenance of manufacturing equipment and utility systems. The apprentice will work closely
with the Engineering team to gain hands-on experience while ensuring compliance with safety
and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Support installation, inspection, and servicing of mechanical equipment.
• Participate in routine equipment checks and lubrication activities.
• Maintain maintenance logs and documentation.
• Assist in identifying equipment abnormalities and reporting them to supervisors.
• Follow SOPs, GMP, and EHS guidelines.
• Support utility and engineering projects as assigned.
• Maintain housekeeping in the workshop and plant areas.
• Learn and adhere to company policies and engineering best practices.
Qualification
• Diploma/Degree Mechanical Engineering.
Preferred Skills
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and tools.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.
